Ms Begoña de Benito. Director of External Relations. ECOEMBES

Begoña de Benito is Director of External Relations at Ecoembes, an environmental organization dedicated to reducing the environmental impact of household packaging through eco-design and recycling, which she joined in February 2013. In her role, she coordinates the organization’s relationships with civil society, public administrations, governments, European institutions, and companies.

She holds a Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and an MBA in Economics and Business Management from IESE–University of Navarra.

With more than 20 years of senior executive experience in commercial and marketing management within the consumer goods sector, she has worked for Continente, Carrefour, Ahold, and DinoSol, where she was also a member of the Executive Committee. She also served as Commercial and Marketing Director at Alice.es, a Spanish internet start-up and marketplace for food and consumer goods.
